Day 138 and the plot thickens

So remember in my first blog entry I mentioned closing escrow this week? Yeah, not likely. We had our walk through today (with the house still furnished no less) and the ceiling fans and other wall appliances had been ripped out. Joy. So after reminding all present real estate professionals of clear contractual obligations on the seller’s part and my displeasure with the matter- things took a turn for the better. Bad news is the seller won’t likely be moved out by the weekend and we probably won’t close until Monday or Tuesday of next week. Whoo hoo!
Speaking of turns for the better, I had way more kicking/ movement from our litle girl this evening while watching the new Star Trek movie with the mom and hubby. Neither of them couldn’t feel anything by simply putting their hands on my belly- these miraculous sensations were apparently just for me and the new James T. Kirk

Now that I can really feel her moving, there seems to be this new connection forming between me and the little peanut. What a sublime gift that is. To have this abstract idea of a growing being in your body- not fully understanding what it means- and then being given this bridge of mutual feeling is a powerful thing.

All the stress of the day matters not- I have my darling girl safe within.
